The word "negotiation" can strike fear into even the bravest hearts. In this workshop, we de-mystify the basics. We'll cover key strategies and tactics and put it to work with a role-play simulation -- so you're that much readier the next time negotiation comes calling.

About the event
In our Negotiation 101 workshop, we'll provide a framework for conducting negotiations, teach core tactics for conducting negotiations, and put negotiation into practice with a role-play simulation of common scenarios including salary negotiations, discounts when shopping for a damaged item, and managing rent increases.
These workshops are open to everyone but are focused on those newer to formal negotiation training and will provide additional advice for women. (If you're a regular reader of the Harvard Negotiation Project, hold tight for our advanced workshops.)
We've learned that the smaller these workshops are, the better they work. To that end, workshops are limited to 20 participants to ensure everyone gets a chance to ask questions, share input, and debrief on their role-play.
